Creatures of the Night: Halloween Tricks at ZooTampa

What do you get when you combine wildlife, cocktails, and spooky haunts?

ZooTampa's Creatures of the Night, of course!

This event was one of my favorites of the year, and I am oh so grateful that we made the invitation list.

What You Need to Know:

Friday and Saturday nights in October after 4 p.m. is when Creatures of the Night takes place. It's spooky but FUN for all ages. This year you can find a Halloween adventure for the entire family. There's nothing too gory or frightful. It is just a fun night of fright for all!

Creatures of the Night will feature a NEW ICON and TWO NEW scare zones!

  • Medusa's Stone Cold Cave
  • Fairy Frightful Forest: This was the highlight of our evening. I hope they keep it for next year. It was a gorgeous setting with colorful fairies who light the way until the sidewalk turns dark and scary. It was seriously awesome fun for all ages.

Creatures of a different variety lurk around every area of the Zoo!

  • Pumpkin Palooza
  • Scarab Point
  • Haunted Key West
  • Carousel of Creeps: This was another one of my favorites. I loved the “creeps” that mingled near the carousel, and I had so much fun taking photos with them!
  • Wolf Haven Village
  • Critter Canal

How to Go:

Pay for a Day ticketholders can attend for free every Friday in October and Saturdays before 4pm. If you'd like to come after 4pm on Saturdays, it's only $3 for each Pay for a Day guest! Purchase your $3 upgrade at any ticket window!

Creatures of the Night admission is included for free in all Zoo Memberships with no block out dates! Members receive preferred parking until 4 pm, so arrive early for enchanted parking and more spooks.
