- Hot Toddy Chai
Nothing warms you up quite like a hot toddy, but they can hit you over the head if you’re not careful.
Our riff brings the warm spice flavor through with a more delicate buzz. It’s perfect for sipping in front of the fireplace.
You’ll need the following ingredients:
- 1 oz. cognac
- 1 oz. spiced rum
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- A squeeze of lime juice
- 5 dashes bitters
- Chai tea mix
- Whipped cream to top (optional)
Instructions
- Brew a cup of chai tea for 2–5 minutes (depending on your desired strength).
- Add the alcohol and syrup to the boiling tea. Stir well.
- Squeeze a lime once the tea is brewed and top with whipped cream if desired. Decorate with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg.

2. Old Fashioned with Rum
Who doesn’t love an Old Fashioned? It’s sweet and bitter with scrumptious lashings of citrus. Our winter riff has sweet overtones of molasses with the warming mouth feel of rum.
Here’s our riff to enjoy this classic drink in the chilly winters:
Build the following ingredients into a Double Old Fashioned glass and top off with an orange twist:
- 2 oz. rum (Spiced rum works too)
- 1 teaspoon of blackstrap molasses
- 1 oz. Angostura bitters
- 2 oz. bourbon
3. Fireplace Negroni
Negronis are ideal for those with bold palettes. The bittersweet punch paired with the spicy, citrusy hints from the Campari form an unbeatable combination. It’s also one of the easiest drinks to make with a 1:1:1 ratio of gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari.
You’re probably wondering how we riff this classic drink. We add in equal amounts of rum and sherry and hoowee!–it’s a blast.
For the final step, add a drop of liquid smoke to honey. This mix adds a deep smoked flavor that makes it one of the unusual cocktail recipes.
4. Amaretto Cream Sherry
This cocktail is as easy as it is delicious. The deep, earthy amaretto flavor tangos beautifully with the warming sherry.
Inspired by the Petanque Cocktail, our riff adds a cream liqueur that brings a deep richness to this classic. Mix 2 oz. of amaretto, cream liqueur, and sherry. Enjoy over a ball of ice.
5. Chocolate Negroni
We’re bringing the Negroni back, but this time it’s chocolatey. Let’s be real, chocolate makes everything taste good.
This drink is creamy, rich, and hearty. It’s perfect for a relaxing night when it’s snowing outside.
You need the following ingredients:
- 1 oz. gin
- 3/4 oz. Campari
- 1 oz. Nachtmusik
- 1 tablespoon dark chocolate shavings, for garnish
- 1 orange twist
- Whipped chocolate mousse to top
Directions
- Stir the gin and Campari together.
- Next, gently layer on the Nachtmusik.
- Add an orange twist in the middle of the glass.
- Top with whipped chocolate mousse and dark chocolate shavings.

6. Spicy Margarita
Do you crave spicy things when the weather drops? Our Spicy Margarita delivers a jalapeño kick that warms your mouth and chest.
It starts with the basic margarita recipe of 1 oz. of tequila (preferably silver) and an ounce of orange liqueur like Cointreau. Toss it with ice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Rim the glass with lime juice and salt and muddle in a jalapeño. Then toss in two slices of cucumber. Finish by pouring in the margarita mix and garnish with delicate slices of jalapeño.
7. Festive Punch
Jingle bells are jingling, Santa is delivering gifts…oh and all your guests are on the way and you haven’t made any welcome drinks yet (yikes). Worry not. Our festive punch recipe will save the day.
Punch is typically made with rum, but we’ve chosen the face-to-floor spirit instead: tequila. Why? Tequila is an energizer that’s perfect for social occasions.
The best part about punch is how easy it is. Combine these ingredients in your favorite punch bowl:
- Chunky ice or frozen berries
- 10 oz. silver tequila
- 5 oz. vodka
- 1 oz. grenadine
- 4 limes, juiced
- Cubed fruit (whatever you have on hand)
- 3 oranges sliced
- 1-liter ginger beer
- 1 drop of clove essence
8. Mochatini Sundae
Looking for the most decadent cocktail? We’ve got the creamiest, dreamiest Mochatini recipe. Our secret is the ice cream topping that makes this the ultimate cocktail treat.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
- 1 scoop chocolate/vanilla ice cream
- 1 1/2 oz. Kahlua or any coffee liqueur of choice
- 1 shot of espresso
- 3/4 oz. chocolate liqueur
- Cocoa powder to garnish
Directions
- Pour the liquid ingredients with ice into a cocktail shaker.
- Shake for at least a minute.
- Strain into a cold glass.
- Top with the scoop of ice cream and sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
9. Long Island Hot Tea
When you’re looking for an instantly tipsy type of drink, nothing hits the spot like a Long Island Iced Tea. The downside is it’s not the ideal cocktail for a cold winter day.
With our Long Island Hot Tea, you can enjoy all the deliciousness of your favorite cocktail with the comfort of a steamy drink. Simply combine the following ingredients in a mug:
- 1 cup of sweetened black tea
- 1/2 oz. vodka
- 1/2 oz. tequila
- 1/2 oz. gin
- 1/2 oz. triple sec
- 1/2 oz. rum
- 3/4 oz. lemon juice
Garnish with a lemon wedge.
10. Spiced Mango Daiquiri
Daiquiris are light, refreshing, and fruity. We’ve got a new kind of daiquiri for you. It’s comforting, bold, and full-bodied—perfect for the winter.
The hints of cinnamon and clove add a warm spice undertone while the lime juice gives that classic daiquiri zest.
Shake these ingredients together:
- 2 oz. spiced rum
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 2 oz. Monin mango syrup
- Ice
Garnish with 3 cloves and 1 cinnamon stick.
11. Margarita on Snow
It doesn’t get any more winter than a cocktail made with snow. Yup, you read that right. The snow adds a soft, fluffy texture and appearance. We’ve incorporated muscovado sugar syrup for that deep, winter spice flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of frozen lime juice
- 1 oz. aged tequila
- 1 oz. mezcal
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 2 oz. muscovado syrup
- 4 cups of snow or shaved ice
- 2 lime wedges and mint to garnish
Method
- Shake the ingredients without the snow.
- Put the snow into the glass and pour the mix over.
- Top with two lime wedges and a sprig of mint.
12. Boozy Chocolate Eggnog
Do you have leftover eggnog? Winter is the perfect season to cook up a pot of eggnog, but it can get boring after about the 4th cup. Warm up a mug and add in the following:
- 2 oz. Nachtmusik Chocolate Liqueur
- 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
- Sprinkle freshly grated nutmeg on top
13. The Gin-gerbread Martini
Whether it’s with a warm cup of cocoa or a specialty martini, Gingerbread cookies are a must-have during the festive season.
This winter, we’ve decided to get a bit more literal with our Gin-gerbread Martini (get it?).
Start by using gingerbread syrup and crushed gingerbread cookies to rim your glass. Next, shake up the following:
- 2 tablespoons vanilla ice cream
- 1 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
- ½ oz. Kahlúa
- 1 oz. Rhubarb gin
- Ice
Finish with whipped cream, cinnamon, and a cute gingerbread man.
