Mickey Mouse Cinnamon Rolls with Blue Icing

There’s nothing quite like adding a little Disney magic to your breakfast (or snack… or dessert — no judgment here!). These Mickey Mouse Cinnamon Rolls are ridiculously easy to make, and they’re almost too cute to eat. Almost.

Whether you're planning a Disney movie marathon, surprising the kids with a magical breakfast, or just want a fun twist on classic cinnamon rolls, this quick recipe is a winner. And that blue icing? Totally optional, but it adds a splash of color and whimsy that Mickey would definitely approve of.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of cinnamon rolls (the kind that pop out of the can — magic in a tube!)
  • Blue icing or blue food coloring (to tint the included icing)

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Build your Mickey:
    • Take one whole cinnamon roll and place it on a baking sheet — this will be Mickey’s head.
    • Grab a second cinnamon roll and gently unroll it.
    • Starting from both ends, roll the strip inward on each side to form two mini spirals. These will be Mickey’s ears.
    • Pinch the “ears” onto the top of the main roll so they stay connected while baking.
  • Bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Decorate with your blue icing while still warm. You can use the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls and simply mix in a drop or two of blue food coloring to get that magical hue.
  • Serve & Enjoy! These are best enjoyed warm, gooey, and with plenty of smiles.

Pro Tip: Want to go the extra mile? Add some edible glitter, rainbow sprinkles, or candy eyes for an even more whimsical Mickey look. The kids (and let’s be real — the grownups too) will love it.
