Understand The Pre-Tournament Deck

A major decision you can make before your TCG night is choosing an ideal deck. Remember, the deck you choose at the start of a tournament is the same one you will use throughout the tournament so choose decisively. If you choose a one-60-card deck for the whole tournament, you cannot swap out any cards throughout the event. It is noteworthy that while some tournaments can require you to use standard formats, others can let you use expanded formats. You should therefore have a look at the event listing to see what tournament format is available so that you pick it and customize it to your decks appropriately. Remember, a deck is not sufficient to give you a win in a TCG tournament, although it can increase your chances of winning.  Do not rejoice in a good deck as some of your competitors can have brilliant ones which can surely beat yours.
