Chocolate Chip Cookie Martini

Espresso martinis are all the rage right now, but now they might have some competition. This Chocolate Chip Cookie Martini is the perfect cocktail for anyone with a sweet tooth. With a cookie crumble rim and chocolatey flavor, you can serve it at birthday parties or as a Christmas cocktail, or even make the non-alcoholic version for your kids to enjoy.

 Ingredients

  • 2 oz Chocolate Vodka
  • 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 1 oz Crème de Cacao (Dark)
  • 1 oz Half-and-Half or Cream
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate Syrup (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Ice Cubes
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Mini Chocolate Chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the martini glass in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to chill. If you don’t have room in your freezer, fill the glass with ice water for the same amount of time, then dry out before using.
  2. Place your chocolate chip cookie in a sealed Ziploc bag, then crush it with a meat tenderizer or your hand to create a cookie crumb.
  3. On a flat plate, pour a thin layer of chocolate syrup.
  4. Dip the rim of the chilled glass into the chocolate syrup and then immediately into the cookie crumbs until the rim is fully-coated with both.
  5. In a shaker, add a handful of ice cubes, then pour the chocolate vodka, Baileys Irish Cream, and Crème de Cacao over the ice.
  6. Add half-and-half or cream and 1 tbsp of chocolate syrup.
  7. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds or until the outside of the shaker becomes frosted.
  8. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass without disturbing the crumb rim.
  9. Garnish with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips, then serve with a chocolate chip cookie as a side treat. The Milk Chocolate Chunk Cookies from Felix & Norton are one of my favorites.
  10. Enjoy responsibly.

Variations

  • Dairy-Free: You can use dairy-free alternatives like almond, soy, or oat cream and a dairy-free chocolate chip cookie for garnish.
  • Non-Alcoholic: Create a non-alcoholic version using chocolate milk, a touch of non-alcoholic vanilla extract, and a splash of chocolate syrup, served in a cookie crumb rimmed glass.

This Chocolate Chip Cookie Martini recipe is sure to be a hit at your next party, and you can pair it with the Pecan Cookie Cocktail Sundae (more cookies & Baileys).
